A highlight for the digital art of the Spanish designer RETOKA with the series R.P.M. The light effects used by him as the pattern of colors he chose, gives an atmosphere of something real and authentic when it’s “just” pure art. When looking at his work an image of a vinyl disc can pop up because of the resemblance, a fact that aggravates with his motions of the same digital work, the idea seems less misplaced, cause the feeling of looking to a spin record make more sense. That’s why when I looked at the project I thought the name was bpm (beats per minute, often used in electronic music) instead of R.P.M. More of his artwork is available at his website, Behance or you can follow him at Instagram.
