Solar Impulse

Jul 27, 2012 by     No Comments    Posted under: Paranoias

Using the power of solar energy the HB-SIA Solar Impulse aircraft has traveled almost 6,000 km on his first trip intercontinental round-trip between Europe and Africa. This strait forward and simple design is an experimental solar plane created by Bertrand Piccard and André Borschberg. “Solar Impulse has demonstrated that a solar-powered airplane can fly day and night using no fuel. The next challenge is to fly around the world. Our aim is to prove that progress is possible using clean forms of energy.”
