Brooke Golightly Photography
Introducing the conceptual photography of Brooke Golightly with surreal worlds based mostly on self-portraits with a special kind of old film or cinematic look. “When I began getting into photography, I found that the photos that captivated me were very emotive and almost always were anchored heavily in humanity and our interactions with nature. Since I often will have last minute ideas and don’t usually have a model readily available, I began creating almost solely self-portraits due to having very specific ideas in mind about how I want the final image. Sometimes this self portraiture is autobiographical and sometimes I’m influenced by issues which are close to my heart. Being able to put these personal emotions and influences into some other place outside of myself is something I consider myself very fortunate to be able to do and am happy when someone else can relate to them. Don’t forget to check her Flickr gallery with a lot of more works.
