Mekkanika Typeface

Nov 7, 2011 by     1 Comment     Posted under: Paranoias

Mekkanika is a futuristic, experimental and highly detailed typeface, creation of the Italian and freelance graphic designer and digital artist Riccardo Sabatini based in Florence. “Mekkanika is a typeface inspired by old mechanics technical drawings, the steampunk visual world, and modern machinery, mixed and merged all together to form letters completely made by these elements, creating a mechanical look like typeface. All based on the letter shapes of the Din Alternate Black font. And it’s the direct sequel to an old work of mine, THE MATRIX STEAM.” The complete set with all the letters is available at Behance.
