Philographics by Genis Carreras
Gorgeous minimal illustrations series entitled “Philographics” explaining complex philosophical theories through basic shapes, by Genis Carreras, award-winner graphic designer based in London, born in Catalonia in 1987. Basically it’s philosophy explained through simple and effective design. The posters are also available to buy here.
Update: A series of 95 beautiful designs explaining philosophy using simple colors and shapes, available as a postcard box and a book. “Philographics is all about explaining big ideas in simple shapes. I started the project 2 years ago with the intention to merge the world of philosophy and graphic design, and it has since received some internet popularity. In the beginning it was a set 24 posters, explaining philosophical theories like Dualism, Free Will, Existentialism or Idealism using only shapes and colour. But so many important ‘isms’ were left out that I decided to add more designs to the collection.” Check the new project on Kickstarter
