Samsung Solar Powered Netbook

Samsung, they’ll be selling their solar-powered NC215S netbook in the U.S. for $399 starting the week of July 3rd. The netbook features the solar cells in the lid. The The US model will have a 10.1 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display, 1GB of memory, and a 1.66 GHz Intel Atom N570 dual core processor. The solar charged battery is said to provide one hour of computing for every two hours of charging, with up to 14 hours of life from a fully charged battery. It may be a problem during winter.
